First go to the home screen on your Samsung Galaxy s4 by pressing “Home” button first located at the bottom of phone. If you want to look for it, just press and hold on any blank space on your home screen until you see an option pop up that says “Google.” Press it and it will take you directly to the Google sign in page.
Now tap on that little yellow circle with arrow pointing outwards located right under “Search” tab so that the circle turns blue.
Then you will see that the circle is now black, and it says “Sign in to Google.” Tap on that word “Sign” so it changes to read “Sign out of Google.”
Congratulations! Now you can sign out of Google from Samsung Galaxy S4! This brings me to believe that this easy way of signing out of Google is only available if you have already signed in your Gmail account into your Samsung Galaxy S4 before or if you’re on Wifi connection when doing all these steps. But I don’t know about the wifi part as I’ve always been signing out of my Gmail account using this method only when connected through 3G network to internet service providers (ISP). But if you still can’t figure out how to sign out of Google using this method then just check out the second method below.
