With no split-screen option for playing locally on one device, inviting friends online works best. First invite your friend to your game (by either using their email address or using the Steam / Xbox Live / Google Play username), then both players should agree on a server to play on together – either through LAN or host and connect directly via IP address. If you are unable to locate each other directly, have both players check the servers list again after around 5 minutes of being around 5 minutes on the server together to refresh the list.
Skins can be used by selecting a character (by tapping on an empty space) and then pressing Options, choosing Change Skin and picking a skin from your device’s data storage. You may also change your skin while in-game by placing down any block or mob head / item, double tapping it and pressing “Change Skin” while looking at where the old blocks were before they disappeared. If using a world save with pre-placed items, you can change your skin by demolishing all of these items using 3×3 of them demolished rather than 9×9 for full chests etc. Note that if already wearing armor / a head when attempting to change your skin, you will have to remove the armor / head first.
